    1. if you like prints, smaller prints/patterns work better than large. big prints just emphasize that you're big.

    2. yes, black gives the illusion that you're slimmer.

    3. choose fabrics that skim the figure. meaning it clings to the curves and are flattering. avoid tight fitting clothes.

    4. equally, avoid excessive fabric that makes you look like you are hiding under a tent.

(observe, what is interesting is #3 & #4 also apply to super skinny people. not flattering)

    5. invest in good underwear (this goes for all body types).
5A. go for bras that offer support (example: wider straps that don't dig into your shoulders and back). do not assume that the size on the label is correct. different manufacturers have different measurements and fits. take time to fit bras in the fitting room. i've been appalled by women in department stores who fit bras OVER their clothes. duh.
5B. for undies, know your measurements and compare with the items for sale. if you ask nicely, most lingerie departments have a tape measure somewhere.

    6. stay comfortable. beware of cheap synthetic fabrics that do not let your skin breathe. if you feel comfortable, you will look comfortable.

    7. the best accessory is a sincere smile.

and now for some fatshionista fun-- Fatshionista!
note the pictures of real fatshionistas on the right hand bar.

i'm not plus sized but do have friends who are.

    1. If you want to wear a dress, make sure it has some shape to it. “Floats,” “trapeze dresses” and “free-and-easy styling”. Look for dresses with princess seams down the front, dropped waists, and other styles with shape. Stay away from anything that looks like a tent with flowers. hehe

    2. V-necks and other low-cut tops. A v-neck can be very flattering because it lengthens the neck line and draws the eye down. However, any neckline that shows overflowing cleavage is not flattering.

    3. Pointed toe boots and shoes can make your legs look longer and slimmer.

    4. A wrap style shirt or top can create a desirable hour glass figure shape by defining your waist at its narrowest part (just under the bustline).

    5. Wearing strappy shoes with an ankle strap that crosses over the front of your ankle can make legs look wider and shorter than they really are. big no-no!

IN the end, proportion is the key. They should strive to create a pleasant line in their clothes, one that plays up their assets and camouflages flaws.

Love and cherish those beautiful curves!! ^_^

Try to buy at Moda Plus. They have stores in Metro East, Festival Mall, and WalterMart MAkati. You can buy also at Moda Plus Landmark Trinoma, Landmark Makati, Market Market. I bought clothes at festival mall.

    Hello Friends

Every woman likes to be cautious about her looks and appearance. Anyway, fashion is mostly related to women. It can also be said that fashion is synonymous to women. But the fact is that fashion is not just about dressing, but many things add to it.
If you are plump women, avoid sleeveless cuts. Wear clothing made of dark colors than lighter shades. Dull colors like dull blue or dirty blue also make a good choice. Wearing small prints or vertical line prints make you look slimmer. Beige and fawn colors look good on you, if you are of a medium structure. In case of blouses, try on nets because they can disguise your physical flaws. If you are a thin women, all color ranges and color shades look good on you. Sleeveless, deep cuts and strapped blouses make you look gorgeous.Prom

    Thanks!
