Where's the best place to disappear?

There are times when you just want to forget all the hassles, stress, problems and you just want to disappear, forget about everything.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anywhere that has the aspect of serenity. I'm thinking of mountains and seas where you can hear the chirping of birds, waves hitting the shore, and people just living simply. A place where you can bond with NATURE is always almost PERFECT!

For me, I would love to stay in Batanes. If I'm not mistaken it has the lowest crime rate in the whole archipelago (almost zero crime) plus people are very honest and down to earth. The view....magnificent, as if it's heaven on earth.

rooftop of my workplace? or the basement storage room of my house.. I guess I am feeling down very often that I need those kind of places near me to find some rest every once in a while.
Personally I like the suggestion of mountain trekking or traveling to other places, but they both cost time and money, don't they?
If I do have plenty of money, I would purchase a yellow feather-light trolley from Mandarina Duck, pack everything I want into it, and leave to a remote island that no one knows but has ideal mountain features and waterfalls.
