Generally I like Java, the only thing I don't like is when I need to print something, it's probably the weakest part of Java. I guess there's no such thing as a cure all programming language.

what do you mean 'print something'? if its the source code, it depends on your IDE. if its printing capability, java has cool feature in it.

Can anyone recommend me of a good IDE for Java that doesn't slow down my system? I end up using an editor coz most of the IDE's are slow. It's going to take me a very long time to program a printing module with preview without an IDE.

you can use eclipse. it's a light weight IDE.

Thanks for the tip, eclipse is still too heavy for my present system, I guess I need to upgrade my old p4.

Gel Java IDE kay ok pud... its not made in Java so kusug.
JCreator - the free version doesnt have code/class completion (intellisense)
