Has anyone ever come across a great deal from a big company?

For example, earlier this year, I wanted to buy a new phone. With so many choices, I didn't know what to buy. Top tier phones were going for 35k-40k easy. Even with a postpaid plan of around 1k/month, you'd still have to cashout 25k or more for the top tier phones. However, with Globe and Smart, for some reason I can't think of, were offering the Huawei mate 10 (valued at 30k plus earlier this year) at a 15k cashout even with a plan lower than 1k/month (600 to 800). No other offer even compared, so I chose the Mate 10 as my new phone.

You guys have any stories where you saved more than you though you would?

but recently, purchased a normal/keypad nokia fone rather than a smart fone. i can still meet up with my friends and connect with them no problem

Yes, i only have one variation of tshirt and somehow i can save but not a lot, i can save decent.

Exactly, were not talking about where we can get cheap stuff. Point of the thread is to see if you guys have seen "steals" from regular stores or services, that normally would be beyond your budget or what you would be willing to pay.
