Default How do you save money (reduce your cost) from your regular expenses?

    Hi Istorya!

Wanted to ask your saving (kanang mka less or acquires rebates) techniques from your daily / regular expenses.
    - Bills, daily commute, consumption or laag (yes laag, bisan ng laag ka dpat naay technique mka save).

Just curious how other people deal with the things above in terms of saving money. This would help me and others nga wla pa khbw sa mga istilo hehe

    Me? mao ni sila:
Buying Prepaid loads (post paid is too much for me)
I buy not from stores outside. Instead I load myself using:
Loadcentral ( i have a loadcentral account for my own consumption)
My 1000 coming from BPI online transfer to Loadcentral BPI account
1000 then can be fully consumed 24/7 as long as naa ko net or naa extra load
    <10% rebate
BDO and Metrobank is also accepted
    Coins.ph ( yep I also have one)
3030 deposited to Union bank (do not have an account but maagian ra inig travel sa work)
    3030 credited to Coins.ph
    10% rebate for buying load
Paymaya ( yes I have one again )
    1k thru 7/11
    1k credited to Paymaya account
    5% rebate for buying load
I only use paymaya kung naa cla promo (from time to time mo 100% rebate with a maximum rebate amount)
Been doing the load central for 3 yrs. I have just started using Coins.ph and Paymaya this year.

    Groceries
I use BPI credit card and will make sure to pay the exact amount right after to avoid finance charges
They always have a promo that if your spend a minimum of 3k (any purchase, straight) will entitle you to have a Jobi full meal. Wla na jobi krun as of writing. Ang gi puli ky 8inches shakey's pizza.
Been enjoying this for about ~4 years already. This year lng ang Shakey's
We do groceries twice a month (5 family members) and we always cook food
Groceries takes 3k minimum to 5k max per grocery
~120-150 rebate in a form of food (pang meals sa work)

There are other CCs that offer much better rebate. Hope someone can share!
    Gigutom nuun ko

    Credit Card Annual fees
    I only have BPI
was not able to avail the lifetime free annual free when I applied
But! was still able to avail after. Just take the time (patience lng jd ky perting dugay mo tubag) to call their customer service and ask for it.
My First year is waived. so tsomatic free
2nd year, they only offered half
    3rd and present - full
I just need to call lng nuun every year to avail. but worth it
    saved 1200 yearly
    Plane Tickets
Convert BPI Credit Card points to Cebu Pac points then to Plane Tickets
    So basically no cash spent
never tried this hinuun but my friend at work is a regular to this
sulit kaau, spend using BPI CC and points will accumulate every time you pay your CC bill.
I am not telling you to buy anything pra lng mgka points. Use your CC wisely.

    Bills
Use Coins.ph or Paymaya (either nila duha) kung asa naay rebate nga dako
either of the two will have promos up to 15% rebate from time to time
if wlay promo sa duha then use this tricks
    SkyCable
switched to the quarterly / yearly billing terms
I availed the yearly ( saved me 1 month equivalent of bill)
    MCWD
Doing advance payments will automatically give your rebates
    ~5% rebate so far
    started this year
    VECO
well, the account holder should already be a senior citizen and have an average electricity consumption of 110KwH in order to avail the discount
Sadly, dako kaau mi bill sa kuryente and dli ko senior LOL
But switching to all LED light bulbs helped me
gave me about ~7% less from my monthly bill
enjoying this for about 2 years already. ako gi hinay2an ug puli evertime naay ma guba nga old bulb

Imagine how I saved money by doing those. I could hail a taxi knowing that the money I am about to spend is the money I saved from rebates or discounts.

Yep! that is all so far!
So how do you save money from your regular expenses?
