NETFLIX is set to release A Series of Unfortunate Events – the new adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s eccentric novels about the Baudelaire children.
What is A Series of Unfortunate Events about?
The new drama is based on Lemony Snicket’s children’s book series of the same name and recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans – Violet, Klaus and Sunny.
After their parents die in a fire, the children are put into the care of their dastardly uncle Count Olaf, who will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance.
Netflix says: "The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death."
Each book in the series has been adapted into two episodes of the series, with the first four books covered in the initial eight-part run.
