Can you give more specifics on your monitor choice? Are these TN or IPS? G-sync or FreeSync?...Both monitors of your choice are FreeSync

FYI - Radeon for FreeSync and Nvidia for G-Sync. They are propeitory technology and are NOT interchangeable.

Don't get TN.... TN is an old technology. Layu ra ang TN compared to IPS. IPS is the way to go. Sa.yang lang imo build kung mag TN ka.

MONITOR: BenQ XL2730Z 144Hz 1ms 27" / Asus MG278Q. These are FreeSync monitors so mas mau ni cla with AMD cards para magamit ni nimo nga feature..

.....it is requirement to use AMD Radeon with "FreeSync". Nvidia cards will NOT work on "FreeSync".

Sakit sa brain and sa bulsa ang 1440p gaming, pero 1070 should do fine. Depende sa game, you might have to lower down the graphics a bit para smoother ang gameplay.

anything above 256-bit GPU should be okay for 2560x1440@144Hz.....Sigurado.a lang na 256-bit imo VC....DO NOT GET ANYTHING LOWER THAN 256BIT! Hinay ra nang 192-bit bus.

I've used 4GB, 256-bit, GPU on 2560x1440@144mhz, before without problems (asus rog pg278q)

yes....
Replace thermal paste with arctic silver (non-synthetic type) and add heat sink to make card run cooler if possible. This will make VC last longer....labi pa sa ato na init ka.ayo.

Depends on the title.. But the general answer is no.

Di ka maka ultra for newer titles with an RX 480. The monitor you chose has a 144hz refresh rate. For you to enjoy that, you need to have at least 144 fps when playing.

Benchmarks for 1440p gaming (GTA V, Ashes of the Singularity, Battlefield, etc):

1070 is the card you should at least settle with. The 480 struggles getting at 60fps on 1440p. If you can't get 144 fps on a 144hz/1440p monitor, di nimo ma enjoy imong kwarta
