lolz..i direct nalang diay nimo share ang DSL to all PC in yur office![]()
bai tolstoi.. akong pasabot kay naa sa OFFICE ang INTERNET DSL.. then mo DIAL UP ko gikan sa among BALAY paingon sa OFFICE.
naa kay idea ana?
you mean you want to access your office network sa inyo balai?..if thats the case try a remote access software like PCANYWHERE.

In addition if your office router(kung naa) has a RAS dial-in support much better...you can configure that to dial from your house to your office. Or take shejulfa's advice setting up your pc to manage incoming connections...read it here for more...
@pyodor..can yu elaborate what shejulfa said...specifically how can yu make a "dial-up" connection from your house to a "DSL connection" in the office?..do you think the bundled DSL modem of globe/pldt has a RAS support?? (speedtouch DSL modem)..coz from what i know RAS is a separate server.
kindly enlighten me...
This is my setup @ office..

DSL MODEM -- SWITCH -- WORKSTATIONS (win2k)

@pyodor - thnks for the link bai.. ako lang basahon.. unsa pa lain paagi aside sa RAS ug sa link nga gihatag nimo? unsa sad pasabot anang RAS?
Again, you really are speed reading...I never say the bundled DSL modem, that is why I said "kung naa", I assume that nutjugger has this setup in his office DSL MODEM(the one you mention) -> router(maybe a router with RAS or a PC proxy server) -> LAN...so if he/she happens to have a router(cisco has a lot of this, or he can invest a cheap one surecom ep-3506) with RAS dial-in then he can configure that router as a dial-in server. Or not probably a PC proxy server (again I assume an XP OS) then read the link above I gave to configure an incoming connections.Originally Posted by tolstoi
ru now enlighten?
so this is your set-up if you are not going to invest for a router, then you may take the 2nd option...configure your pc to manage a connections...of course you need a modem for dial-in...Originally Posted by nutjugger
