About the Sharepoint Architect Position:
A SharePoint Designer plans, coordinates, manages, organizes, and controls the development, implementation, and maintenance of all company SharePoint sites as well as the database needs of those sites.
Responsibilities:
Designing SharePoint solutions, site taxonomy, UX, and record storage
Building and implementing custom UI designs for SharePoint with Adobe Photoshop, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, and C#.
Creating and modifying SharePoint site collections with multiple sites, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies
Building forms with ASP.NET and InfoPath and SharePoint application pages
Implementing document and record center repositories Integrating designs with third-party SharePoint solutions such as BrightWork pmPoint, d.velops ecspand, BA Insights, Cadacs Organice suite of products, and Nintex Workflow Documenting solutions with Microsoft Office
Superior attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Strong verbal communication, preferably experience working with Australian or British companies
Highly professional written communication exceptional understanding of the English language
Experience in a Business to Business (B2B) technology role
Minimum 2 years of experience developing solutions with SharePoint 2007 and 2010
Minimum 2 years of experience working with SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010 Excellent knowledge of image manipulation software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft Expression) Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, CSS, ECMAScript, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
Strong knowledge of InfoPath 2007 and 2010
Strong knowledge of Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 Knowledge of software lifecycle management in particular the agile methodology
Knowledge of software design patterns such as MVC, OOP, SOA, and data structures Familiarity with source control integration
Familiarity with the Microsoft stack of products
Some experience with SQL Server or other relational databases Close proximity to GAGFA, Cebu
Knowledge and understanding of active directory, cloud environment and system networking.
