Wa najud koy choice but to post. God knows its been weeks na naghuwat ko ani niya mkig-areglo. Heres the story.

Nag trade mi aning tawhana with my s6 plus other phone to his s6 edge. Way blema ang unit upon checking. Kampante pd ko because iyaha man daw ning phone under his globe plan. So meaning under warranty frm globe. But then katong naa nakos amoa, when i was checking my msgs, naay murag lakra ang screen na keyboard. Its only visible if white or light colors ang background and if plain. So ako na sya gi contact. Dili sya mutubag. After a day, nitawag siya and we talked. No idea daw sya sa issue. I MADE IT CLEAR NA I ONLY WANT IT TO BE FIXED NO MONEY INVOLVE SINCE UNDER WARRANTY. And again gi klaro nko na if under nis iyahang globe plan ang phone, HE SAID YES. So niadto nakos samsung and they told me ilisanan og LCD. But since under globe, free ra bya. I told hm, nitawag ra sya dayun. And then ana sya i.contact nya ang authorized daw sa phone. So nag wonder nako kay under gud niya but then why dili sya authorized. But since nagsabot mi na ok ra nako bsag pila ka buwan as long as mapaayo niya. I told hm mag meet mi. Para mkakuha kog assurance na he will keep his word till the end (like a pic og his valid id or what) But di naman tawn sya mureply. Gi block pajud ko sa fb. Our last convo sa tawag kay sunday sya mauli and that was friday. Karon di na sya mureply. Naa ni sya for sale sa olx s6 duos.

This practice is widespread. I even bought a phone, pag meet up namo everything seemed fine but when i got home kabantai ko sometimes di mu function ang fingerprint sensor. Another time i bought a phone that is 'openline' but ended up NOT. He assured it was openline but then i trusted that seller.

I learned my lesson and i try not to buy from people who do Buy and Sell. They care less about the product and more about profit. Unlike people who actually pre-owned and pre-loved the product they're less likely to lie about its defects.

I have nothing against people who do buy and sell but a little bit of honesty is totally appreciated.

This is a common problem when buying phones with AMOLED screens, Screen burn.

Also a problem is di kaau tanan aware about OLED degradation, we value OLED phones of what the model is and the current market value, not by how pristine the screen is. Aesthetic condition included.

A Note 5 or an S6 used for 3 months for example, advertised as "MINT", but what if sa 3 months ang screen time ana is about 3 months sad. Sureball jud na na naay burns, which also degrades the phone value by much kay the only way to repair it is to replace the OLED screen entirely.

My advise to people who plan to buy phones with OLED screens:

Always check for screen burns (there's an app for that or to be safe if there's no internet, bring an APK)
