As of right now the only viable option is put it in the SRP as a temporary solution.

Another option is dili collectahon ang garbage.
Every official who told us about 'temporary undergoing(s)' went overboard and this will turn out to be something permanent. Those who voted for this madafaking city mayor are obliged to take action upon this matter.

actually cebuanos have suffered long enough. basic services of the city were compromised tungod lang sa pagbayad sa utang sa SRP. but i think its way to long already. almost 10 years naman siguro still people of cebu are suffering for it. just look at the garbage collection. pero tungod sa mga pamulitika aning atong mayor wa gyud tay na dada aning SRP. sus ginoo. ganahan man siguro ni siya ug pina Geisler tag-iya sa Bigfoot bah nga tagaan siyag duha ka Mustang para padangug..

We should do our part as well to recycle, I guess not since all you know about is complain, but i'll do my part.
Any Mayor or leader here in Cebu wether Rama or TO is bound to meet this problem when the DENR started banning our usual dumpsite.

Kana atong mga political leaders, what comes first in their list is their political plans for their personal gains.
It is very rare to find hard core leaders who have the balls to figure out scenario of his constituents after 20-30 years .
Look at Cebu City now, its end of 2016, and still no railways, not even a long term dunpsite.

Cheers everyone! But in my assessment such political figures are "weak leaders". They are the frontliners who dragged our progress.

Our transpo and garbage system is even worse compared to the 70's.

Whos fault? Who else but the "Weak" political leaders up to the ladders of congressman and senators.

dili tanan tao sige reklamo diri boss is not doing their part. dili maayo mag generalize. kahibaw baka boss nga ang garbage collection kay trabaho na sa local government? part na sa services nila.part na sa tax nga atong gibayran. tanan nireklamo diri is a tax payer, they have the right to complain. kanang imong ingon nga "pangita mo lugar para sa dumpsite" or "hakuta na ang basura sa srp" murag wala manay buot nga statement. as what i said, ang usa ka landfill or dumpsite naa nay lifespan it does not last forever. mao bitaw naa dapat planning. and i don't buy your statement nga ang SRP ang "Only Viable Option".. i think imo rana himohimo nga statement. of course SRP is not t he only viable lot.kadaghan yuta option sa cebu not necessarily cebu city. SRP is a prime lot. nagsugod na ang development.basin mo atras pa ang investors ana diha.gihimo dumpsite. even if its temporary or not. cebu has suffered long enough kay sige bayad anang srp nga utang.then karon nga nagsugod na ang development, it is starting to grow.

We've already done our part, segregating every piece of our trash all the time para inig abot sa tig hakot di na mag yaw2x and you're trying to tell us that kita pay mo hakot ana hatod sa dump site?

Totally agree! Ang kanang garbage collection is supposedly one of the basic functions of LGUs.

During mid 2000s, gipadala mi sa among company as part of urban development research sa Munich... And one of the things nakita namo is ilang waste management. Would you believe nga naa silay waste management plant at the heart of the city? Walay baho... And even the water waste from the treatment plant is safe...

Di man sa di ta kaafford ug ingon ana nga facility. It's just that wala tay urban planning!

Same is true with our waste management. Early 90s, gi-forecast na nga mahimong metro ang Cebu and that the city would be enjoying economic boom pag-abot sa 2000s.

Sayop sa Cebu City is that our urban planning kaniadto, kuwang. Wala na anticipate nga mo kalit ang Cebu ka populous and therefore too late na para mag widening and to add additional facilities within the metropolitan limits. We even lack expressways kay obvious nga wala pud ni gi anticipate. Lastly, ni focus na hinoon saona ug land refills and reclamations ang Cebu instead of cityscaping.
