Thread: Router trouble

    Default Router trouble

    I have tenda w311r router.
Everytime i switch it off or unplug it along with the modem it resets back to its default settings (default ssid, disabled password, login back to defaults, etc.). I tried upgrading its firmware to the most recent but the same problem occurs.
    What should i do?

if still on warranty, then return...
if not, then out of luck

If you were able to upgrade the firmware and it's sticking... then there's one thing you're doing wrong.

You're not applying and saving the changes properly!

If that is his router GUI, the only button to click to save and apply the router settings should be OK. Since op states that:

basing from that, his Settings are saved while the router has power, and he should also check if the router version did change to know if the Upgrade went successful or he just knew the router was upgraded because it says "Upgrade Successful".
