It's all so telling, given how this country went bananas during Pope Francis's visit. But when the time actually comes to show empathy and Christian principles...well, some of the comments in this thread speak for themselves.
When Yolanda hit,
Bangladesh gave millions in aid. That's a third world country with its own problems. Indonesia, yet another country with its own problems,
gave another $2 million. You have the gall to receive foreign aid, but you think it's now unwise to actually pay it forward.
By the way, this wouldn't be the first time we've sheltered refugees. Please see:

But by all means, carry on with the politicking and self-serving circlejerk.
Feeding foreigners while giving them shelter on our own country is a different thing than just giving aid money to other countries.
Your logic is pretty childish, porket Christian majority ang atong nasud magpataka na lang diay ta ug gasto ug billions of Filipino Tax payers money sa mga foreigner while atong ubang mga sariling kababayang pinoy walay pagkaon ug walang balay?
I'm an atheist pero masabtan sad nako ang sentiments sa uban na unahon sa ning mga pinoy bag-o mga foreigner.
