Try to find a DVD of Season 1 of Penn & Teller's show on Showtime! Cable channel... (I won't name their show coz some people here might find the show's name offensive).

Episode 8 presents a very entertaining view of the Creationism vs. Evolution debate.

It ends with the following comparison:

I have heard of this show. There's a channel in Cebu showing it?

Heh on the offensive title. =D According to the article I read, the reason why they pick that particular title is because of legal reasons.

Apparently, in the USA, if you call someone "a liar" on national tv - that person can sue you for... libel or something. However if you use a really offensive sounding word, you can't be sued because it's obvious you're just being opionated.

By the way, I think I'm now pretty sure which side I am on. =) I'm almost 100% certain I'm a Theistic Evolutionist or an Evolutionary Creationist. It's sort of like a middle ground. The Roman Catholic Church recommends moderation, which is usually a good thing. Though I have to admit you tend to get criticized by both sides if you stay in a middle ground.

It's not showing anywhere in Cebu (or in the Philippines for that matter). I doubt the tightas... I mean, moralists in the MTRCB would allow it to be shown.

I'm in Cebu. =) I do get to see Mythbusters in Discovery Channel. Sort of similar to that show, but there are no offensive words in Mythbusters. lol

Mythbusters tackles much less controversial topics than P&T... i.e. P&T has topics like "Bible... Fact or Fiction?", "Feng Shui", "Alien Abductions", etc.
