ok raka boss?
No less than two Popes encouraged this Black Nazarene procession by granting INDULGENCE to those who "piously pray before the image of the Black Nazarene of Quiapo." As you know, INDULGENCE is that Catholic mechanism for the remission of sins (e.g. donating lands in exchange for the remission of the sin of adultery) which was huge business during the Middle Ages. It's one of the things that people fought against (and died) during the Reformation...and yet here it's alive and well. Have another Pope tell its flock to adore another statue and you know they'll all invariably stampede for it as well.
How many more statues (Black Nazarene, Sto Nino, Virgin this, Virgin that, etc) do you need to protect yourselves from possible and almost inevitable misfortunes that will befall on you? It's either you roll up your sleeves and do something about your future or hold your hands up to the high heavens for the answer. Statues and talking to voices in your head are not the answer.
