I tried to search if there are any thread for Counter Steering but wala ko nakita... If ever existing thread MODS paki close lang...


Anyway, Na intriga ko ani counter steering ka kita kog sample vids sa youtube which is medyo interesting pero at the same time maka hadlok....Fellow istoryans kinsay suhito or naka try aning Counter Steering?

basically, mao ni imo buhaton. kung moliko ka sa tuo, imo i push down ang tuo sab nga handlebar. you will notice nga motakilid ang motor padulong sa tuo. same thing with the left turn...push down the left handlebar.

puede ra ka dili mag counter steer kung hinay imo dagan and gamay imo motor kay puede ra madala sa imo lawas pag lean and/or lubag sa handlebar asa ka moliko...

pero kung modagan na ka 30kph or more para nako mas maayo mo counter steer para dili mo overshoot.

any two wheeled vehicle turns ONLY by way of counter steering.. if you are already riding a motorcycle for some time, you have been counter steering unconsciously.. counter steering is actually intuitive.. see twist of the wrist how your motorcycle responds when you deliberately lean your bike by your body weight.. mao ni kasagaran nahibaw-an.. they didn't know nga pag lean nila, na initiate nila unconsciously ang counter steering..

but counter steering can be used more effectively by using it consciously.. you can either flick or dip (quick counter steering to change direction quickly also sometimes termed as swerving) or slow-pushing when in a curve or twisty..

the main principle is push (the handlebar) right to turn right, push (the handlebar) left to turn left...

and yes, countersteering applies to small bikes, even bicycles..
counter steering consciously is great skill to have as a rider especially coupled with defensive riding..
