Transfer speed to a NAS

guys naa lang ko ask basin naka try na mo ani..

currently naa ko NAS box.. which is an ATOM d525 installed expenology 5.2(synology hack)


my NAS serve as PLEX media server and File Storage for my pics and Video for editing

Currently ako f set up ang MTU to 9000 both my desktop and my NAS ang iya transfer speed is set to fix 81MB/s

but if i set it to disable or regular nga MTU setting which is 1500 mag taas ubos ang iya transfer speed

both machine is connected to a gigabit switch.. TP-link 8 port gigabit switch


unsay angay nako buhaton para mo taas pa ang transfer speed??

coz diri sa amo office mo abot man jud ug 100MB/s kapin speed..

isa pa kung mag mo switch ko sa akong hackintosh... mo limit ako transfer speed to 23MB/s

81Mb/s is somewhat reasonable na gyud (for me I believe)

murag lisud na gamay ipuga ang speeds ani , what speeds you want? or try to achieve?

BUT

if you really want to have GODLY speeds, these are your options (GODLY PRICES SAB BRO! )

option1: buy a LACP switch, and buy some/many LAN card(s) [1/2/4ports] {EXPENSIVE!!!}
option2: buy 10Gb switch and 10Gb Lan card!!! {INSANELY EXPENSIVE!!!}

tnx a lot.. but for now murag na ok na sya.. on my xpenology.. gbutang nako sa samba3.. then everything went up.. 90-120MB/ps na ang transfer nya both windows 10 and Hackintosh El Capitan,, i just put back all MTU to default which is 1500 ...

sa windows ang iya tranfer speed 100+ from NAS to desktop.. from Desktop to NAS 90-120



mao jud with great speed comes great expenses jud.... NAS is running 24/7 now for torrent
