mas paspas ang internal na HDD compared to USB 2

but init man kaha na mediabox nimo, i assume kani na model < http://www.pixelmagicsystems.com/products/media_players/hd_mediabox.htm>

mas maayo ang usb 2.0 na extenal ana

maka play ra ghapon na ug single stream na HD movie

ayaw lang dungani kay muhinay mang data flow

kung mopalit ka ug 2.5 inch HDD, you might wanna consider WD - AV25

    WD AV-25

came across this product kay I have a 2TB WD Essentials w/ WD Green HDD inside.
and AV lines of WD are optimized versions of the WD Green, diay, specifically as the line implies for AV.
not meant for desktop use but for multimedia storage and streaming ( or so they claimed )

edit - personally, I see no reason to use a mediabox pwede raman diretso paslak sa TV or Blue ray player.

    Best option: SSD...hahaha.

Of course it comes with a price.

USB 2.0 has a peak data rate of only 480mbps.
    That's your limitation.
