I used to be Intel fan boy but after much soul searching and realizing what Intel doing to the public consumers - I switch sides.
I didn't like how Intel bundle GPU on most of its cpu and add $$$, beside i5 (I think), even tho hardly any gamers used it. This is more of a marketing ploy than anything else. Thiers no reason to bundle GPU on a 'gamers' chip. This is more of meeting the bottom line for the stock holders. I would gladly switch sides if Intel becomes more 'costumer oriented". Thiers alot of good Intel cpus but for differrent purposes.

One thing about AMD, thiers few socket type than Intel hence eisier to upgrade ang mobo. I've explained this b4. This is through experience using AMD over the years. Finding mobo for Intel to reuse your old cpu is hell - thiers just too many socket type.

Pwede unta na mo sulti kong dealer/vendor ba usa mo post para kahibaw ta daan ang standing nato. Dili ta magtago behind our posts. In other words, be honest and forthcoming sa mga 'istorya'....

kung mo baligya ta, hatag options na pyesa available. dili lang kay ma-o ni. Most vendors (BUT NOT ALL) do this to 'push' thier product out the door. Cebuano man ta tanan. Mag tinabangay gud ta.

Mas daghan ug kustomer mo duol nato kung 'honest' ang namaligya, sakto ang advise. Naay uban diha mo baligya mahal GPU, SLI pa gyud, unya para ra diay single monitor na gamay ang gamit. Baligya mahal kaayo RAM pero dili kinghanglan sa mobo. Klaro kaayo nag take advantge ignorance of the buyer. I know its about money but there are better ways to do it....matay, sakto nani uy! dili bya sayun mag type para nako!

BTW - if I were to build a workstation right now (video editing, photo editing, and the likes) Intel would be my choice. AMD for gaming (6 core and above) if cost is a concern.

- Kay ngano if you are on SLI or XFIRE intended ra diay na for single monitor? Kay ngano dli diay pwede? Dli pwede in a way nga for example mag 4k single monitor ko but i'm running in SLI? How would you justify that?

- Ngano maka blame baka sa Intel sa ilang market strategy? Well that's your opinion.

- Are you now blaming vendors on how they work their products? Or maybe you're not just aware of that.

PERO if ganahan kag gamay ra kaon kuryente ari kag intel (proven and tested nana nako) basta d nako moexplain bisag imo pang icheck ang TDP sa duha nya naa kay 10 ka units makakita kag kalahian sa bill

Sayup ka...Ang AMD is "fabless". Naa silay 'third-party para mohimo sa ilang chip - "Global Foundries". murag kulang pa ang 22 years nato bay da. Lisod naa ta trabahao sa usa ka vendor kay dili ta ka advise ug husto - medyo 'bias' gyud ta syempre. Mas maayo na mo sulti ta sa tino-od kinsa ang 'vendor'.

bro, kahibaw ka kinsa ang nag sugod aning Global Foundries? AMD is one... maong ni sulti ko na ang AMD naa sila'y wafer fab tungod naa sila'y access sa wafer manufacturing... akoang company diri, is a "fabless" one... our business model is the same as AMD in a bird's eye view but in details to the root level, dili. wala mi'y access sa manufacturing floor. design level ra... access namo sa manufacturing floor kay mag manage lang... akoang domain is Quality and Reliability...

tungod sa limitation sa GF in terms of wafer technology, nagka tuwing2x pud ang AMD. GF can't compete against intel's wafer technology capability... maong, AMD was glued on the "32 nm" technology... unsa naman ang capability sa intel foundry ron? mura'g 2011 or 2012, gi baligya sa AMD ang stake nila's GF but, they still have access in the manufacturing and design floors... as this was explained to me during our series of discussions together w/ AMD as they offered me a managerial position (sa binisaya pa, gi pirate ko nila). if ning grab ko's opportunity for the Red Team, I would be in Germany now...

as I've mentioned on the previous post, I'm not against AMD... I will buy their FX CPU any time... I'm just against on your statements or tambag2x...

If i were on the tightest budget and i were to build a rendering rig, id go for amd. And if i were to build a gaming rig, id go for Intel.

Why?

Because i am the biggest fanboy of all and i dont do my research. Bwahaha!!

ngutana ko boss... bag-o lang ko nag palit ug PC under A6 5400k FM2. ang ako prob is that ang temp under the stock cooler on idle is 55-60 'C and full load reaching 80'C. I believe na murag init ra jud ni xa. based on my research ang max temp ani nga proc is only 70'C. I bought the item at Gaisano Interpace CMall. paminaw nako guba ni nga proc. what do you think? murag abnormal na jud ang temp ani nya noh. at full load ky gi open na gud nako ang side panel nya gi electric fan mao ghpn. huhuhu
