Your English Salon (Y.E.S.) online English school provides a progressive English environment to Japanese students as well as working professionals. We are looking to hire experienced ESL teachers.

Why work with Y.E.S.:
- Each lesson only takes 25 minutes of your time, thus taking several lessons would be easier to manage.
- Materials are provided which cuts preparation time.
- Pay rate: $2 per 25 minute lesson
- Regular & business lesson take place using the Skype platform.
- On time monthly payments (minimum to almost zero fees)
- Be cultured through a casual and fun learning environment

Requirements:
1. Neutral English accent
2. Patience to listen - Students shall speak 80% of the time.
3. Must be keen to correct student's pronunciation, grammar and sentence construction. Suggest a more natural expression.
4. Creative in asking several questions related to the material and in keeping the conversation going.
5. Punctuality is a must. (Time management)
6. Stable DSL/Cable connection (tested during interview)
7. Headset with mic & webcam


Qualifications:
Education background with 1-2 years experience teaching ESL.
Graduate from a college/university
CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, TOEFL, IELTS certified teachers are encouraged to apply.

Priority will be given to teachers who can offer lessons during peak hours.
Peak hours: 7PM to 11PM China time

do you have gender preference? do you also accept teachers with no experience in esl but is already conversing with foreign clients since previous work was being a tester/developer?

We don't have gender preference. We can train professionals with no experience teaching ESL if they passed the requirements. Although, it may take 2 or more training sessions before we decide if the individual would be ready to teach.
