correct, WPA or WEP with MAC Adress filtering sure no one can connect to your network.

Security in wireless router is the second most important thing to setup. I have my wireless router setup in this manner.

1) I don't broadcast my connection. So nobody knows that my wireless exists. You can find it on linksys router. I once encountered this.
2) Use WEP 128 bit key. Try to remember this key because you will be using this on the wireless terminals (laptop).
3) Change the channel. There are 4 channels in linksys that you can choose. Try also to remember this because you will be using this on wireless terminals (laptop).
4) You can opt-in by filtering MAC addresses. MAC addresses is the series of number, burned into the very heart of your unit. Every device has this number and unique, so no two devices will have the same MAC address.
