After DOMA and proposition 8 were struck down by the United States Supreme court June 26, 2013. Same *** marriage resumed in California.
It is interesting to note that this topic is trending on twitter for both Cebu City and the Philippines in general when these laws technically "should" have no impact on our country.

I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Defense of Marriage Act. This was discrimination enshrined in law. It treated loving, committed gay and lesbian couples as a separate and lesser class of people. The Supreme Court has righted that wrong, and our country is better off for it. We are a people who declared that we are all created equal – and the love we commit to one another must be equal as well.

in legal arena... incest is considered a crime while same *** marriage is not, but not allowed (on some, still it depend on local law), doesnt meant its a crime... while having a sexual relationship with an animal is not a crime but it falls into weither that person is psychologically/mentally impaired... so if your comparing this on what you said possibilities over same *** marriage... then your reasoning is twisted not the world...

you should consider the legal context before making a comparison... siguro para sa mga religious believer it is a sin or wrong and such comparison are acceptable... thats their belief...

some country may have criminalized homosexuality... but you have to see that this country are mostly discreetely-theocratic... something that i dont want to happen sa pinas...

for one to be acceptable and legal it has to be proven that such action is SANE and PRACTICAL...
