Hi Samurai... I tried to search for USA Hostel, the pictures look good. Na-ganahan pud ko at first. But naka-basa pud ko negative comments sa other sites. Naa pud nibutang nga never book a hostel in mirador daw coz it's dirty & the staff are rude, and that the pics are the opposite of the reality.

The hostels there in mirador daw are run by one owner. Not sure lang ha but that's what I read.

I dont want na mag-kontra ko sa imo choice ha but just sharing the info I read, hehehe. =)

Right now, we are still deciding whether to book sa Dragon Hostel or sa Anne Black Guest House.

Naka basa sab bitaw ko ana nga comment. but you know we cannot please everybody man, it is always a risk basta dili international hotel chain kay no name to protect man. hehe.......

sa dragon Inn and ah shan hostel kay tagiya mang gud mangunay that's why mura naa poy customer service nga ginatawag, but don't expect too much from a hostel, it nothing but cheap, basta clean and safe lang i don't see any problem, God Bless,

ur right...na-a daghan positive n negative comments on USA hostel..or let me say sa MIrador n Chungking buildings in general....sa ako lang analysis...those who posted mga negative comments ani nga building katong dili kaayo anad ug travel...syempre they are expecting nga na-a sa hongkong nindot gyud tanan buildings n accomodation...but if u luk at the price sa mga hostels in these buildings..pwerting baratoha...dili ka katu-o nga u can have a rom that cheap in one of the most expensive city in the world.....expected na gyud nako nga bati ni nga room...wat makes me decide ani nga place kay it was featured man sa travel asia.......safe man pud daw ang rooms....

Dragon hostel has more positive comments..but location wise mas ganahan ko sa may TST area kaysa sa Mongkok area....murag rude man gyud ang mga taga didto sa ilang customers....its normal sa ilaha....same ra pud na nga tan-awon ka sa mga indians nga nag tambay didto sa mga eskinita sa Hongkong...mura ka tulison sa ilang mga tutuk but they are harmless..ingon ana pud ila batasan kusog mu tan-aw sa mga nanglabay..hehehhe

youp TST is like ayala in cebu. mas nice btaw dha dapita. but mahal, like ang 80gig nga ipod video we got it mga 2400 ra sa mongkok, sa tst pinaka barato amo na ask kay 2700. same with the camera and cellfone. mao nga nahan mi mongkok kay cheap. hehe, but then usa ra ka sakay padong mongkok, everything is near and very efficient ang transport system. so no prob, where ever you are in kowloon side ok kaayo. so happy trip ninyo tanan. next year nako balik didto pa.

if you go on your own savings gyud. but dapat sa hostel mo puyo, ako marecomend kay ang ashan dragon Inn in mongkok tag 105 hk dollar per night per person minimum of 2 dapat, they have rooms for 4 persons pud. but gamay cya, naay aircon, hot and cold ug tv but mura ra gyud pension house dri sa ato, gamay lang but ok na kaayo, sa ubos anang hostel naa tanang night market ug electronics plus cellphone shops.

tapos sa mga rides ocean park kay 190, disney land 250, kaun pa ninyo usually mga 100 dollars a day sobra nana per person. mag mrt mo to get you around hongkong sayun ra kaayo, dka mawala, just remember kung asa pinaka duol nga station sa inyo place nga gstay. ayaw lang pagtaxi kay unlike sa singapore, mahal ang taxi sa HK.

if you stay there for 4 nights that will be 420HK dollars + 400 food + rides 420 + misc 260(drinks+Fare+etc) = 1500 x 6 =9,000php (napanay sobra), depende sa imo ishop another 6K kung mga RTW, bags, shoes ug mga cosmetics, kapuyun kana ana pamalit. 15K with pocket money for 4 days in HK is really ok. fare nalang inyo problemahun, go get cebu pacific naa cla promo fare now.
