I always use my Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard) in purchasing bags, shoes, and clothes in HK, so far no service charge or processing fee applied. Ipakita pud nila ang conversion to local currency before swiping the card to know the amount in Php...I think applicable lang ang 10% service charge or processing fee to restaurants/diners...

no service charge when using a credit card in Hongkong based on my experience,.. mas barato if u chraged it in HK dollar kaysa derecho peso..

as long as you know the local price sa imu paliton and compare the price in Hongkong..okay kaayo....its almost always 50% less mga electronics in HK compared diri sa ato....

kailangan pa diay ug us dollar na savings account to buy dollar mam katherine from banks? wala man ko ana so does it mean dli ko makapalit from them? so sa money changer nlng?

Unsa mas better if naa na sa hk? us dollar to $hk o peso to $hk?

if mu stricto ang immigration? dili mu makadala ug more than ten thousand pesos..so better dala na lang US dolar then change didto sa HK ug HK dollar.....

Again, US DOllar to HKD is highly recommended but... If you only have a Philippine Peso, then buy Hong Kong Dollar diri. Do not attempt to buy Dollar sa in our local banks or MC's then convert it into Hong Kong Dollar when you arrived in Hong Kong because you will end up alkanse not unless you are going to change a dollar from your Mom, freinds etc at a Dollar to PhP rate.

Where to change your USD to HKD in HK that offers good rates?

- Chungking Mansion - Daghan Money Changers didto but... do survey the rates first of each MC's because they usually do not have the same rate. And.. do not attempt to go further sa lobby area because the inner portion for me medyo dili na safe though daghan pa money changer didto sa soot2x but why gamble not unless naa naka kaila or frequent naka diha lugara.

Personally, wala ko gipangayu-an...but as a safety precaution, I always bring my passport with me wherever I go...enjoy HK!
