it's 2k+ pesos per night. Ang website sa agoda is misleading. nindot lang sa pictures. tanawa lang ng pics below.

I was about to book sa USA hostel, but reading the comments and reviews, nag hotel na lang ko.
most hostel where fully book or the cost is almost the same as the hotel gyud(mga 1k lang additional per night).

i saw noah's ark (link above) but it's almost always fully booked. cost 3-4k per room.

checkout USA hostel. ok ra ni basta wala bata. kamo kamo ra. cowboy style.

In.ani mn gyud ang hostels sa HK. either sa Mirador Mansions or Chungking nga buildings. we stayed at Cosmic Guest House sa Mirador Mansion 12th floor. looks the same as the one in the pix. owner is friendly. room is small but clean. only the building looks filthy. but for its price, totally worth it. anyhow, i was out most of the time around HK and i went to the hotel to sleep and shower. and to leave my things. nice thing too, it's right beside the MRT, right in front of the bus stop and two blocks from the avenue of the stars/boulevard.

but if you have the moolah then go for the hotels. i had one night at Imperial Hotel. big, with pool, in TST but way too expensive.

p.s. the filth and the "hinayhay" adds character to the building. dunno if you've seen the film Chungking Express. maoy akong ganahan sa HK compared sa Singa, mas naay character.

    please post pics/infos good hotels.
need list on decent hostels/hotels recommendations.

USA hostel is about 2k per room. Pics as agoda are really too good to be true, na turn off jud ko ani pag search nako sa istorya.

    pic from agoda - reception

    pic from agoda - beds

    sa picture lang nindot.

i really like noah's ark hostel, it's a hostel costing only 3k per room.
it's a themepark hostel (?). Most hostel cost around of 2-3k per room.

im going there with my family, noah is fully book on the dates we planned. i just thought that it's worth it.

more links/pics/recommendations/suggestions are appreciated sa mga decent hostels...

para sa mga budget conscious, i think naa pa mas barato sa usa hostels didto (from previous posts diri). USA hostel lang ang pinakabarato nako nakitan sa reputable website. hadlok lang ko posting my credit card information on other websites.

    Thanks for your input, guys!

I also found this site https://www.wimdu.com/

Instead of hotels/hostels, these are rooms/apartments that can be rented by tourists..usually owned by HK residents.

When I went to HK last year, we stayed in a room..at a Kowloon condo. It was really nice and clean, very simple. It was also quite cheap considering that there were 5 of us. I'm just not sure if my mum booked it in this site.

Anybody booked in this site before? It looks secure, and there are actually reviews left by people.

My god..never stay in USA hostel..even barato siya, not at all worth it! Better stay at cosmic, way cleaner and friendlier ang staff nila..and mas better if you stay at mirador rather than vhungking gyud..

The first time i went to hk was last year and opted to stay at usa hostel..upon arriving, wa mi tagda kay dapat 2 pa daw among checkin, thinking ang niatubang namo kay pinay nga staff nila..so amo lang usa gbilin among baggage kay around 8 pato sa morning..nbalik mi mga 2 then n.adto na sa room, pagsud namo, shocking kay ang beds namo, wala na fix, ang bedsheet kay g.fold ra, meaning kami pay mgputos sa kutson...ngrequest mi ug blanket, mygawd! Ghtagan mi ug another bedsheet kay nhutdan daw sila blanket...ang tv nila, d m.andar then ang aircon, hinay pa gyud kaayo...disappointed ko kay ngexpect ko nice kaayo ilang services...one more thing, if check.out namo then magbilin pamo sa inyo baggage, mcharge sila at a certain fee which is free sa uban hostels...

At cosmic guest house, during my 2nd trip to hk, way better services, smiling kaayo ang chinese girl sa front desk, then pag.abot namo, at around 8am, gdali.dali ug limpyo ang room kay bag.u pa ni checkout ang occupant before namo, mga around 30 mins, gipasud nami, limpyo gyud siya then humot pa gyud air freshener ang room, and take note, comforter gyud ang naa as blanket unlike sa other hostel..then the tv is cable, even though late night nami mutan.aw..naa sad sila hot water for bathing then tugnaw kaayo ang aircon...and after checkout, around 11 or 12pm bah to, free ra ibilin ang baggage basta until 6pm lang which is for me reasonable na..
