BEST NEWS THAT I'VE HEARD FOR TODAY.
Disney-Pixar has officially announced that a sequel for Finding Nemo has been given the go signal. The new movie will be titled Finding Dory and is slated for release on November 25, 2015.
As per Andrew Stanton, the director of the first movie:
"One thing we couldn’t stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In Finding Dory, she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way."
Obviously, as the movie title implies, the sequel will focus more on the forgetful fish, which will be portrayed by the awesome Ellen Degeneres. It will take place one year after the events of the first movie, and will still bring back Marlin, Nemo, the Tank Gang, as well as other characters.
