Akong kaila, chicks kaayo sa Facebook, every now and then mag-post about cars; one day she called crying magpatabang lagi kay wa' siyay kwarta and [insert domestic violence drama here] so bottomline manghuwam siya ug kwarta. I just considered it my payback to the favor she did me in high school, now a month later crickets na ang utang hehehe
Although essentially insignificant to my initial post, you're right wala' pa koy anak anang panahona. And yes I only started 'materializing' my business plan/s (risking my whole 15-day pay) when I found out I was going to be a father. Kinda had it coming kay nag-salig naa lagi trabaho. "Happy new year. By the way you'll be a father" O.O took me 5 days to finally get it together.

Call me a bad parent but I'd throw problems at my daughter someday just to see how she would handle it and where I can intervene to help her get along with the tough reality of life. Too little detail to judge things, if cirilae's parents saw this I could imagine their reaction
I would rather question better-off people's happiness than the ones letting time fly by ... kanang istambay sa eskina, that's exactly what I meant with rock-bottom. And from what I recall, I was least greedy then

^ Just some luck in business ... ^_^ Wholesaling na' bro hehe dili' pa ko kamao anang stock market (diri na lang ko tubag sa imo PM ha). Gusto ko makat-on anang stock martket unya' puhon kung daghan na ko kwarta hehehe
i would caution people to study first the market dynamics before diving to stocks, mf. though it's some sort of a safe haven investment type, please be aware that our country is a trade dependent country, which means that we rely mostly on exports to sustain good gdp numbers. however, as global economy contracts, this may affect our economy as well, and will have domino effects on all asset class, such as bonds and trust funds.
another thing to consider is your risk appetite. do not conclude that stocks or mf is not risky. as i've always said, anything that you put your money on has inherent risk. there is no such thing as less risky and more risky, there is only risky. how you manage it is up to you and your perception of risk.
im not saying this because i trade international markets. im just aware of global economic squeeze that's happening right now.
and furthermore, when you put money on investment types like stocks and mf, keep your focus and stick to what is achievable, rather than expecting a lot. we are in a bull market right now. so it seems easy to lock in some profits every now and then.
