GOVT Issued IDs are usually enough for small Coverage and then you look like "normal", if you are not normal, like overweight they will ask you for Medical Checkups, and it depends on age as well, even if you look normal, but you are at certain age (guwang guwang na like 55 ba ron), they will ask you to have medical checkups like urinalysis, etc. And even if you look normal, you are young, if your Coverage is high e.g. 5M above, they will ask you for certain documents, etc etc.

Of course they have the right to question "why would you like to be insured this much? is there a 'threat' in your life?" take note that there are always hocus pocus on anything that is related to money. And that's why these days, patient's information is kinda CONFIDENTIAL you cannot just ask any patient's condition, makaingon ka "mura man ug nangutana ta pilay kwarta sa banko aning tawhana", but that's the way it is. daghan sindikato about insurances klase klase na lang na mga modus maka kwarta lang. naa pa gani balita sauna sa germany nuon to, magminyo ug pinay, dalhon sa germany, insure ug dako, then ipapatay.

sorry for a very long answer but that's the fact. for a normal parameters like 'normal' health condition, 'normal' age, 'normal' coverage. most often GOVT ID even one lang is good enough.
