According to Cooler Master Philippines' Facebook page, the Thunder M 620 W has a suggested retail price of only Php 3,199. These means that the 520W and the 420W are even cheaper than that.

If you are building a cheap system and would want a PSU with a modular feature, then you might want to consider CM's Thunder M PSUs.

I'll try to get a review unit for this, so that we can have a real-life experience and testing and it's really worth it.

    hmm...looks like a rebranded seasonic m12ii?

  3. #3
That's what I also think. But I'm not sure if CM is rebranding Seasonic's PSUs. AFAIK, Corsair used to rebrand Seasonic's PSUs.

damnnnnnnnnn that price is goooddd counterpart man daw ni siya sa thunder katong non modular and naa koy nakit.an nga review nga nindot jud ang thunder but idk pa need to read it more kay na tan.awan rato nako haha

  5. #5
That is definitely not a Seasonic. The heatsinks are different. Seasonics use multiple Y capacitors and there is no transient filtering coil in this one which is an indication of aggressive cost-cutting.

    Mao ni ang M12II

Concern ko lang, nganong dili siya 80 Plus certified. Instead Cooler Master used the term 85% energy efficiency.
