Was there last Easter, and the whole beach was packed. Sorry guys, but to be blunt, murag nagmahay ko sa pag-promote sa Tingko actively online dah. I know it's helping the local tourism of our small town and bringing in some good stuff, but I hate the fact na kami mismo taga-Alcoy cannot enjoy Tingko as much as we did years ago. The blame should be on those greedy people making a business out of whatever they can. Hasta pag-stay sa shore directly tungod sa ilang yuta entails a fee. Sala pud sa local government for giving them whatever permits to do that. I'm not knowledgeable about the law, but as far as I've researched, the shore, beach and seas are public property. Makalagot akong fellow-Alcoyanons na ngpadala sa ilang kahangol sa kwarta. But I have no control over them or whatever they do. Ako kaugalingon ra akong ma-control. So from now on, I will stop promoting Tingko and Alcoy online.

Sorry, guys. I just had to let this out. Na-disappoint lng jud ko with my last visit. Tingko Beach is not my go-to-(frolic in the sun/be solitary/have beach fun in) place anymore

Take the bus to Liloan Santader and get off at Alcoy (or Tingko beach if that's where you're headed specifically).
