Why do you "HATE/didn't bought/don't like" iPhone?

I'll start with the good about iPhone:
- Best overall camera among the smartphones. I'm not talking about the picture quality alone. I'm talking about user experience. It's the easiest and fastest to use while being mostly consistent with the quality of the pictures.
- Body aesthetics

Now what I don't like about iPhone:
- In order to get the best experience and convenience of using an iPhone, you need to be a patron of all original Apple products starting from your laptop down to the accessories. Otherwise be ready for some hassle sa imong utok trying to dig up solutions for your issues og sa imong bulsa. Apple is a very closed ecosystem. Apple products will work very well with other Apple products but will most likely encounter problems with non-Apple products.

I beg to differ. The only thing with iphones is if your cable to charge and to transfer data get's busted you need to buy the original one. When it comes to transferring music, photos, videos it's very easy even if you are using a windows PC. When you connect it to non-apple accessories like earphone, blue tooth speakers no dramas whatsoever. It all depends on who is using and it's a matter of reading the instructions.

I've Used an iphone 4s, 5, 5s and 6 and Switched back to android The Reason was: Batterylife

Cannot interact with other phones, like bluetooth, NFC. Cannot download & manage stuff easily especially files with non-mobile file types. One of the phones with worst battery life

I don't like iphone because:

1.) it is overpriced. (mahal man pud ang android pero mas mahal ang iphone, the chinese are selling android phones comparable sa iphone at a very low cost)

2.) android has it all so why buy an iphone (i compare ang high end sa android vs. an iphone halos tanan ma buhat sa iphone naa sa android or even mas advance pa gani.)

3.) problems with connectivity (itunes pirti samoka, bluetooth pirti arteha)

4.) ios is a close environment (di tah malingaw since di tah ka customize, limited kaau ato ma buhat sa phone)

5.) low battery life (although nice ang polymer bat sa iphone but very low rating compared to an android
phone with same technology)

6.) android has the same material with iphone so why buy an expensive iphone.(metal, IPS, plastic...same ra since uban parts sa iphone is from samsung, lg and sony and sa china ra pud mainly gi assemble)

7.) it is not DLNA certified and no NFC (arte kaau if mu connect ka to other devices, ug dili iphone ang i pares possible ma hasol jud ka)

8.) limited models to choose from. (ang android has a lot manufacturers maka pili tah pag au from low-end to midrange to high end naa.)

9.) limited sorage (non expandable no sdcard slot, and if mu palit ka ug higher storage na model sa iphone daku kaayo ang difference sa price)


Ang uban mu sulti na mas nindot daw ang iphone kay paspas or fluid kaau then lig on daw kaau, well its possibly true, but kailangan ba mu gasto ug 40k para ana? An android worth 25-30k is worth it vs. sa iphone na priced at 40k kapin, if naa man gani difference it is not a wise move na mu gasto ka ug maau for that little difference in buid and performance, mao ra ghapon malumping or magaras ra, and in a span of 1-3 years ma pul-an ra ta and mu depreciate ra ghapon ang price to the point na halos mu pareha ra ug price ang android phones ug iphones.

Although naka gamit nako ug iphone, dili jud ko mu buy ani simply because sa concept nila in making smartphones.

I'm currently using the Nexus 6P right now and I'm loving it. I think android and apple fanboys (like you..yes, you) don't appreciate each other's counterparts' mobile OS and ecosystem. A real "tech enthusiast" appreciates both mobile OS as both have its own set of advantages over the other.

For all the right reasons, Android is highly customizable and dynamic. On the other hand, there is no mobile OS as optimized and stable as iOS. The apps run smooth and they simply "work". This is the main reason why I, at a certain degree, like the iPhone. I've been familiar with it since the first iteration.

To answer the topic in the thread, the iPhone 6S and 6S+ for 2015 didn't convince me to stick with iOS. Same look and slightly upgraded hardware. Meanwhile, the latest Nexus flagship is made by Huawei. I've always love their design and definitely the 6P is no exception. Also, the signal and reception of the phone is topnotch as expected from Huawei. Android, in general, has come a long way and a lot have been improved since the Samsung Galaxy Spica days. Yes, it' been more than 6 years since then.
