Default Restaurants in the South (Guadalupe, Banawa, Labangon, Pardo, Talisay)

Since most threads are focused on restaurants in the North, let's go on a culinary journey to the South as well.

Last Sunday, we were looking for a place to eat aside from the usual grill restos and lechon manok stands that line the south expressway. We chanced upon a restaurant called FOODIE's in Bulacao, Pardo (located after the Barangay Hall).

Their SIZZLING BULALO was superb! It could rival Abuhan's and is one of the best I've ever tasted. The meat was super tender, very tasty, the serving size was big, probably good for three pax, with generous helpings of veggies, button mushrooms and gravy. P250 and worth every penny. A must-try for those in the area. Their whole steamed Lapu-Lapu fish with soy sauce was good as well for P120.

Any other recommendations for restaurants in the south? (Guadalupe, Banawa, Labangon, Pardo, Talisay)

I tried Yayoy's Grill in Capitol. Their scallops are tasty and very succulent. a must-try. Ambience is very nice as well.

Any other recommendations for restaurants in the south district? Would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Hi St@rr!! just ate in Red Moon Banawa. Business is Booming!!!! We had the Beef Sate, Sweet and Sour Pork and Fish Fillet. What are your top recommendations there? not spicy please.

At reefcurl and Jr_Gong: Paseo San Ramon center is located across Convergys banawa and is where the Rustans supermarket is located. Other outlets there are Red Moon, Starbucks, Jollibee and Sawadee spa.

just ate there yesterday.. We were disappointed, dugay kaayo ang food... 48 years mi ga huwat sa sud-an. bug-naw nlang ang rice wala japun. Barato cya in the sense na gamay pud ang serving, good for 3 persons. I recommend this place kanang date date ra, dli pang pamilya.
