Maybe need sad nimo sundon imung gipanulti.

    OnT:
I'll make it clear. If ma Go dyod ni, dili man sad mi mag welga or mag yawyaw. I think pareho raman ta ug gipangayo dri, proper solution sa atong traffic dri sa Cebu. Proper implementation ang among gikabalak.an. If i-implement na, una mawala ang jeep. Pero dili man Jeep ang nagbaha sa mga dalan ron, private vehicles man.

ang MyBus karon is not effective kay gamay ra ang route. and MyBus is backed by SM, they have deep pockets to cover operational cost. these buses are not cheap to operate plus fixed ang salary sa mga drivers ug personnel. its a good thing that MyBus has direct routes to SM, in which SM themselves can still fund this with a purpose. i doubt SM can add more buses as it will drive up the operational cost higher and make the fare higher. traffic will only make it worse kay ang MyBus walay dedicated lane. so imagine gamay ra ang units karon sa MyBus, plus ma stuck pa sa traffic, how many trip in a day ra ilang mabuhat? diba? SM will be cautious in adding more trips and adding more bus para dili mo saka pag maayo ang expenses.mao mani ang offshoot problem sa traffic, you spend a lot of time on the streets for public transports so ang mahitabo dako kaayo gasto to operate.

I think BRT caters to those people nga walay car.

Plus, ila gud na gibayran, installment or full, nya dili lng gamiton for daily transpo.

    mao na ako tan-aw.

BRT caters to all boss. main purpose sa BRT is to create an effective mass transport system para ang mga tao nga nag own ug private cars dili na mugamit sa ila cars. kay sa kadalanan private cars ang naa gyud ang nagdaghan.
sa mga noncar owners, this will provide them an alternative. so it caters to all.thats the whole point of public mass transport.

but this will be a vicious cycle boss in which a solution to a problem leads to another problem.

if ang traffic sa cebu city dili gyud ma improve or at least ma solbad lang gamay, ato lang sample ang situation sa banilad talamban area kay wala man kuno dedicated lane diha nga area.

chances are, ang mga BRT buses kay ma stuck ra sa traffic right?
so chances are, kanang mga Bus sa BRT, less trips in a day. which means more waiting time.maybe about 30 minutes per trip? maybe 10-20 minutes on peak hours?

so kaning mga private car owners, would not see BRT as viable option. kay if pirmi puno ang Bus nya dugay ang frequency, aw ang next choice is jeep.

chances are, these private car owners will instead use their cars. and if ila gamiton ila cars, then samot ka trapik kay private car volume will be the same, roads are still the same, plus imo pa pun-an ug buses nga lagpad kaayo so more volume. so samot ka trapik. hehe.

i'm not really against BRT, dili lang gyud nako makita iyang effectiveness sa current size sa roads. coz mao man gud ni atong permi madungog sa butiti na tomas ... either BRT or Road Widening. Maayo unta nag mention cya ug ....

correct boss.purpose of brt is to have an effective and efficient mass transport system. if ang imong buses kay ma stuck ra sa trapik all day kay then it is not effective and efficient. mga tao will still use their private cars and still mura rag wala. although it will help those people nga walay cars as now they have alternative for public transpo.
