So my question on the "basket of solutions" slogan, why is the Cebu BRT along B-T being assailed and in fact threatened to be cancelled, when there is no existing proposal or study that can replace it? And even if there is, it will take another 10-15 years before it can be realized. But the fact that there are 3 proposals which are offered by the private sector on the other (T-M) corridor (and non on the B-T corridor) simply follows the natural inclination of private capital to seek profit or return-on-investment, of which I am very sure will require a huge capital and operational subsidy. No one is studying the B-T corridor or offer to submit a proposal because it's ridership is a bit lower, and more especially because there is an already studied, approved, funded, and budgeted project ready for construction. I repeat, none!

mind you, he answered it with facts, based on feasibilty study ug uban pa.. dili lang kay iya opinion ra... kay suhito man kaha mo hala basa... kay dili man mo sa BRT, cge huwat sa ta ug 15-20 yrs for another major transportation infra para sa Sugbo kay sa inyo tan-aw ingon ana raman ka dali mag kuha ug major project.. goodluck!

a lot of people here are not totally against BRT, ang ilang concern lang is ang road widening which is really necessary. i know part sa plan ang road widening but its been how many years walay progress. i think NEDA and DoTr is doing the right thing. they will talk to world bank and will do another study as ang previous study was like how many years ago ug ang budget that was approved before may not apply now going forward. grabe ang delay.

Wala man ni nila tarunga ug huna huna tingale, mas maayo man siguro ang road widening ug decreasing the number of vehicles running per day para dili traffic... not sure unsay tawag ana.... kanang certain vehicle dili maka dagan ana adlawa etc...
