for those who are stupidly mocking our air force's resources, IT IS NOT AN EASY TASK TO UPGRADE AIR DEFENSE. if you guys are thinking that air defense is just merely buying fighter aircraft, heck NO, it is NOT. unsa'y gamit sa inyong mga latest, state-of-the-art aircraft if there is no updated radar and communication system to support it? air defense is a package and the fighters are but a small part of it.

we could have seen small improvement if not for the pabaon system

haaay nakuuu...I am not dumb. just playing one. the planes you want to mention are not intended to be called "F-series" if you're pertaining solely to their technological advancement. the term "F-series" you just mentioned is only a form of designation code to an aircraft if it belongs to the FIGHTER category and it is not used by the USAF lang alone. fighter jets are not intended to be called that way. you should have phrased it to "4th generation fighter aircraft" or "5th generation fighter aircraft" if you want the latest ones.

and yes, i do know what an F-22 raptor is. internal weapons bay to hide the armaments and increase its stealth factor, full glass avionics that is powered by super smart avionics computers, guidance systems, warning systems, etc, around 35000lbs or so of thrust from its engines that makes it swoop beyond the speed of sound, an airframe that could withstand maneuvers up to +9g, i could go on with the specs but NO, we can't have even one. why? aside from budgets, the US of A banned exports of the aircraft.

i think they gonna make the new ship as the new FLAG ship. I doubt they gonna decommission the Humabon.
