There were already recorded intrusions even while the US Bases were still here. The intrusions included not only vessels from China but from Vietnam and Indonesia which caused the sending off of military contingent since the early 70s to assert RP claim of the area.

These islands are still part of the Philippine archipelago. Thus we need to take appropriate actions about this intrusions by other neighboring countries. Too bad, the Phillippine government seems silent about this territorial issues.
