THe USA will need and "love" this so-called Chinese Counterstrike. Believe me.

ONLY way the US cancells it's Trillions of Dollars in debt to china is a Chinese offensive against any US ally.
It's like this... " We owe you Trillions, but since you punched our friend in the face, we're not paying"

    its easy to defeat China,
just let them implode from within..

feed the Chinese Information against their government and things such as why communism is bad. Feed them information that is not freely available to them like Freedom, or the Tianamen Square massacre.
I don't think what happend in Tianamen Square before will happen again because of the information age, and the world will now care. Sa una daghan ang wala idea unsa nahitabo sa mga Chinese when they protest against communism.

If you happen to live in China, there are many things not available to them, even google is still filtered, and propaganda against the West by the state media is everywhere.
Give them idea about freedom and Human rights, let the people realize what they don't have.

I don't think China can battle war from outside and inside.

Isn't the US doing it already? I heard they are very very good at it but are largely unsuccessful in China.

China's trade surplus accounts from the fact that they have excess foreign reserves. China does not know how to make use of it all. What they did initially is to build and build infrasctures inside china to generate growth which results to a very high GDP. However, the frenzy to build did not last long as there was not enough domestic demand to buy the hotels, condos, and buildings that were built.

In order to use that excess reserve, china had to invest that money into other nations. China knows that US and europe still have a long way before they can recovery economically, so their best bet would be to find another continent and help improve its economy.

The answer? Africa. China now has lots of citizens and investments in Africa. They have built roads, bridges and have provided some jobs to some locals, although when making major projects china still chooses to bring in their local people to do the task.

Many nations have been trying to force china to allow their currency for full convertibility, however China knows that the time to do it has not yet arrived. There is not much RMB circulating around(less than 10%) the world right now but this has increased since then.

Should china allow their currency to fully float the prices of their exports would rise and businesses and factories would close resulting in job loss and an eventual uprising. This can be done gradually as long as RMB circulation becomes rampant such that it will now be able to replace the US dollar as the reserve currency. China and russia know this, and both are willing to work together to make this come true.

Another trump card china has is that it has the world's largest amount of easily mined rare earth metals. Other nations have complained since china does not the mined minerals to be exported outside their territory. These minerals are used for high tech batteries. This policy will affect electric vehicles in the long run. For the west, a carbon based battery design known as graphene may be the answer to the greedy attitude china has towards their rare earth minerals program. This is also the same with technology, since china forces foreign investors to share their ideas to their chinese counterparts or not be allowed to invest in china at all.

US has been observing how china has been making trades in africa. US knows that china gives capital to african nations with no strings attached compared to US which gives conditions even to military hardware that they sell. US is now underway to counter the growing chinese influence in the region via AFRICOM. The previous Libya quagmire was the plan of US and NATO to remove the chinese/russia friendly regime where most of the oil contracts in libya was given to chinese and russian companies, CNNOC and gazprom. The idea of regime change because of bringing democracy was just another excuse at their usual game.

US knows that in order to sustain their economy they have to attract the best talents from all over the world. Right now there are lots of chinese immigrants going into US to study. The chinese still find US a much better place to live compared to that of china. This is also in line with the US immigration reform policy.

There are other problems facing the US now, germany is demanding its gold back. This has prompted the US military and NATO to invade Mali, West Africa since Mali is known to have one of the largest deposits of gold in the world. Seriously the US now has its hands full all over the world.

As for the west philippine sea, I still don't believe that it contains vast amounts of oil and natural gas. I see it as a bogeyman with the real reason being that china must not be able to invest its excess foreign reserves and ultimately challenge the US dollar as the reserve currency.

It is all about the once mighty dollar, people.
