well i did some research the other day and found out that maritime patrol aircraft are usually large and slow machine capable of flying continuously for hours and most of this maritime aircraft are running on turboprop engines. The OV 10 fit that category, it may not compete with other crafts in terms of flight time but duol ra man pud ang spratly sa Palawan.



it is really not that bad considering pud mas older ang P-3 Orion (almost 50 years) and still active today and in fact the Chinese Navy are buying P-3s by 2012 for maritime duties.

UN cannot sanction China because China is a Permanent Security Council member. It is the same reason Russia was not sanctioned for attacking Georgia, because it is also a Permanent Security Council Member.

Any attempts to sanction China will backfire and cause massive damage to the world economy and you will see global suffering at a scale never before heard of.

@Romeojin - intawn nag tuo ka nga mao na ang planes nato na kita nimo sa picture. hahaha naa sa local news site ang pics sa actual plans, post ww2 units literally, Our versions dont have the turbo only the prop. lol kay gi kikikX2 ang budget for mansions and sports cars.. they buy p3s for local sea patrols only not for use in actual combat nor international expeditions.

@hulagway - as RMK711 posted a permanent counsil member cannot be sanctioned and yes they wont attack a back water country like ours not because it would put thier economy at risk but simply theres is nothing to gain here other than a huge headache from well.. you know Filipinos no need to explain.
