The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday confirmed reports that an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was found dead inside a Philippine embassy-run shelter in Bahrain.

According to DFA Spokesperson Raul Hernandez, preliminary finding showed that 31-year-old Butuan City native Kathleen Ann Ilagan committed suicide.
