Working offshore is not the best job in the world. You are paid big bucks to miss your wife, kids and parents birthday. A lot of important events that you will not be around with your family. Being paid big bucks doesn't mean everything is ok, na gyod sakripisyo. But one thing I can tell you your family Is very we'll supported financially.

Started Roustabout, Roughneck, Asst. Driller, Cyberase Driller, Night Toolpusher and now Senior Toolpsher. Don't give up, don't be afraid to get mistake as long as you learn from it, have a lot of patience, keep on learning. Be a leader to yourself later on, it will be useful. You'll just then realized that the fleet relays on your decision. Making big decision means big bucks but remember it is also making big mistakes.

if engineer ka sa rasgas expect starting salary nimu 15k QAR above plus benefits basig mo abot pa ni mga 20k QAR.. kung sa EMS or office more or less 10k QAR plus benefits.. direct hire ni sa ras gas dili ni mga contractor, kay mag depends na sya sa inyo company..

kabasa ko sunstar karon(april 21) about RODECH Training. unsa mani about, training lang ni? or after training mutabang cla pa larga? para asa man? MIDDLE EAST or USA? kay naa man gud nakasulat houston texas and florida usa rigpass acredited and safety training accredited.
dili ko engineer, wala ko experience anything related ani. nya pila kaha bayad ani na training?

hmm nice ni da.. Im working ryt now as an HSE Officer in a drilling company here sa pinas for 3 yrs.. and im planning to try offshore drilling..thanks sa ideas guys.. even though mejo ok ang salary dri.. nice pud kung lain nasad nga lugar..and yes, pasenya ug hardwork rajuy phunan ani.. just like our operations manager ryt now, nga cebuano, nga dli college grad.. but is earning almost php 500k a month.. no taxes.. and dri ra xa sa pinas.. so kugi lang jud ta guys

Nars manka noh? Pag enhance nalang sa industrial safety or Occupational Health and Safety para in line jud sa imong course.

1. Pag training sa DOLE ug Basic Occupational Health and Safety para ma trained Safety Officer or Industrial Nurse naka.
2. If maka sulod ka, pag work as an Industrial Nurse sa mga factories/industrial & manufacturing plants.
3. If naa nakay money, pag training sa RODECH ug 1 month Safety Officer's Course.
4. If dili dayon ka maka sulod sa Offshore Oil Rig, try usa pang apply ug onshore safety officer sa abroad bisan dili oil and gas.
