not sure which bank imo UITF bai but basically, NAVPU is already net of trust fees, taxes and related charges...incorporated na na usually sa NAVPU computation...

Pero if you see the 1.5% additional charges sa imo account...basi they usually reflect the handling or administrative charges on the statement of account...would be better to ask the UITF customer support...basi they can answer better than bank manager kay basi naa uban not familiar with the investment products

by the way, I found BPI charges "Handling or Administrative Fee" which is 1.50% of the subscription amount...could be that one kun BPI ka?
this is the typical fees for UITF sa BPI...

sa Metrobank...it's clearly indicated that trust fee, custodian fee and applicable fees like taxes are incorporated na sa navpu computation...

A one time charge raman pud on subscription.

    Go FAMI SALEF! hehehe

Anyway, BPI user sad ko. I have a BPI equity fund and an Odyssey Philippine High Conviction Equity Fund in my BPI investment portfolio.

With regards sa BPI Investment Funds, under sa ila UITF accounts ang Classic BPI Funds ug ang newly acquired na Odyssey Funds from ING. Ang Classic BPI funds wala xay sales load (front end fees) only the trust fees which is taken into consideration na in computing the NavPu. Ang Odyssey Funds kay naa xa front-end fees similar to most mutual funds.

Ang main difference sa duha kay ang approach sa investment and the fees. check this:
    https://www.bpiassetmanagement.com/u...0Investors.pdf

Aggressive ang Odyssey funds and a bit speculative in my opinion. Based on the current portfolio, they are heavy on mining stocks. Mejo hinay ang dagan sa Odyssey Philippine High Conviction fund at 8.62% YTD compared sa classic BPI equity fund which is around 20.14% YTD na. Probably because of the portfolio invested heavily on mining stocks na mejo naa pa sa sidelines ang mga investors kay murag wa pa jud na fully address ang ni emerge lately na issues sa mining sa Pinas. And PNoy is still Noynoying about it. I hope it won't drag that long and be addressed properly.

    Hope this helps.

hmmm both Odyssey and BPI classic funds carry almost same category of investment options...that is, from fixed-income securities/bonds to equity type funds.

The difference is more on investing approach....BPI classic is into "Value Investing" and focus more on "undervalued large size bond issuers/large cap stocks"...while Odyssey funds are "growth oriented" and focus more on "medium-size bond issuers/mid-cap stocks with significant growth potential". Definitely not all Odyssey funds are speculative...

Odyssey phil high conviction fund may be under performing now but when this mining policy is cleared up...it can be one with higher potential of great returns...if this mining turns out to be bad...it can be the worst performer as well hence, the conviction. mining believers I guess
