    Default Low Voltage Protection?

Among duha ka silingan pareha ra mi ug line sa kuryente gikuhaan (or poste correct term?). Kung maabot na gani sila gikan work, mga 5:30 -6:00, mag-on dayon sila sa ilang aircon.

If on na ilang aircon, our lights go dim but not off then ang ako APC UPS, mo totot na so di na magamit ang unit. Pero ang isa ka unit nga ang UPS is Ideal, ok raman cya, so continue ra gamit.

Question is do the Ideal UPS really protecting the unit from low voltage?

Another question, unsa inyo ika-recommend nga UPS nga pwede ra japon magamit even if nag low voltage? Kaning di pareha aning APC akong gigamit.

    edit:

1st and foremost: you may have to deal with your power provider, if you are in cebu - VECO. address the concern that you are experiencing low voltages in your area., the only solution for that is they should install a transformer in your community to stabilize power. but i've heard before that before sila maka install ug transformers they still have to inspect your area. kung dili ba jud sakto ang power diha sa inyo and the nature of consumption. daghan pana process. hehe

UPS, does protect from low voltage, over voltage and surges.... if mo low voltage na gani, the ups starts pulling power from its battery to stabilize its output... that's why it beeps. likewise if the power is cut, battery kicks in. naa mana sya tolerances sa voltages.

AVR would not do any good. What you need is a good 0.9PF UPS.
