Activity: WILDERNESS HEALTH, HYGIENE & SAFETY IN THE FIELD

More Info: Former Outward Bound USA instructor Will Rhys-Davies conducts a two-day seminar regarding personal/group safety in case of lightning strikes with a drill; food and camp hygiene; proper disposal of waste and a tour to seldom-seen backyard industries of Mt.Manunggal. This is an outdoor class offering by Go Wild Adventures which is supported by Bushcraft Asia and Camp Red.

The following subjects will be taught and discussed:

~ Field & Personal Hygiene
~ Big Picture Awareness
~ Route Cards
~ Camping Stoves (Cooking & Sterilizing)
~ Food Hygiene & Disposal
~ Human Waste Disposal
~ Knife Safety

A registration fee of P550 is required of each participant which will already include a free t-shirt, field manuals and a certificate. Proceeds would be used for Camp Red's charity project for the children of Kahugan, Sapangdaku, Cebu City.

Day 1 (Friday, August 19, 2011)
