@jrpogie-with the applications u describe on using(aside maybe photoshop), i dont see anything there that would really take advantage of multi-cored processors. with multitasking, a faster and/or efficient processor will be better together with more memory for applications to use.

With one of those apps, NOTHING would take advantage of multi-cored processors. ALL OF THEM AT ONCE would..

Correct bro. There are studies where the 3220 does smoke the 4300 in those apps but there are no mention of those apps running in parallel.
