mga bossing, ask lang ko kung naa ba koy masugatan na probs ani akong planned setup:

    i7 3770k
    Asrock B75 Pro3-M
    1x8gb or 2x4gb Corsair ramsticks ddr3-1600
    Silverstone/Corsair 650W psu
    MSI 670 PE OC 2gb
    WD 1TB Caviar Blue
    Samsung 840 Series 120gb SSD

can u guys suggest bang for the buck rams and power supply? rams can be value rams, and the PSU should be at least semi-modular and 80plus rated. thanks guys!

will not be overclocking. picked the 3770k for resale value, it's a personal choice. btw, this setup is for a friend. thanks!

I have a 3 years old phenom 9650 with PSU imaster 650w in good running condition and planning to upgrade to i5 3470 including necessity, can my old buddy PSU support the latter upgrade?

    Hi, long time..

    1. 2 x 4gb will be a lot better than 1 x 8gb..
    2. No to a mid-range, Asrock. Much so that it's just an entry level chipset. Maayo pa entry-level B75 na lang or kung gi-after nimo are the features, might as well go for a cheap Z77, it dont matter if it's a Gigabyte, Asrock or Msi or Asus . The mobo on the 23k rig is a bang-for-the-buck board.
    3. Im not too confident with a WD Blue (had problems before with both Caviar and Scorpio)
