mga sir ask unta ko. Newbie ko sa it field especially in networking. In my workplace(hotel), naa mi leased line 10mbps Php 45,000/month bayan/globe for public wifi connection. Since it is public and not managed expected jud ang over-utilization.

after 1 month or 1 and half, mohinay naman ang speed mo 4-6 mb nalang instead of 10 if worst 3mb and i had call globe asking support then they will tell me nga use our data wisely kay over utilized daw. mura ni cia og capping d i?bisan mahal na kaayu ang line.

Fyi, katong bayan pa gahandol sa among line wala man to overutilized reason sa tech hehe

I don't get the rationale why they have to capped you over leased line... When we say leased line, as long as you are within the bounds of your agreement, wala na silay mabuhat ana.... I have 2 leased lines from Globe/PLDT, while my VPN (leased line) is handled by Globe, and I haven't had any issues at all as far as data capping.. Check the CIR (Committed Rate Interface), 'cause basically mao nay basis if na-meet ba ang agreed QoS.

Sa leased line, there is no capping supposedly and you have been doped! As I earlier said, check your CIR, and regardless ug giunsa nimo na paggamit, your line is expected to deliver "x" bandwidth or more as committed...

Hello guys, ask lang ko pwede ba i-implement duha ka firewall sa amung network? Naa na mi existing nga DELL SonicWall TZ 500, mao ni ang nag serve sa amung site to site nga VPN / IPsec, Internet Security, DHCP, etc.. with dual ISP connected ana. Karon naa mi niabot nga bag-ong machine, Cisco ISA550W Integrated Security Appliance. Ingon amung Manager ipagamit daw na niya amung new nga machine. Naglibog ko unsaon nako ni pag gamit nga naa na man mi existing firewall, para asa pa man ni? Unsa angay nakong buhaton para ma magamit nako ni amung new nga machine nga dili na ilisan amung existing. Please help basin naa mu opinion og ma advice guys. thanks

Back up firewall na lang na boss. Pwede na siya. If naay extra ISP maau itaod sa cisco then change gateway(ang ip sa cisco) lng sa uban pc. Unsa gusto sa inyo manager? Gamiton na as secondary firewall or ilisan inyong SonicWall? I think imong device way back 2012/2013 pa na so wala nah nay support. hehe duwa2an na lng na or pang isolate firewall rule issues.

if naa ka existing domain, pwede ka gamit open DNS,

kaso preferred siya static ip address pud which cost 700per mos. for globe.

suggestion lang
