Focus at something that is stable or doesn't move..Like a mountain and maintain your focus on that...do not remove your sight on that one...

If it is at night you can focus on a star, a lighthouse, or a light...I have heard this from a navy story and tried it during a trip to surigao one November day.. And it works..
