Hi guys ,,, ask lng ko sa mga online nga solo traveler dha .. kerri raba mag solo going to osmeña peak? any advice nga helpful dha ?? aha mas maka save og wat time best mo adtu ?

- Yep, kerri ra. sige ko adto Opeak and kasuway nasad ko ako ra isa nag camp ngadto. nindot kaayo kay na solo sad nako ang bukid, wala nay tao pag 5pm. so peaceful

(Going there)
- If ganahan ka cheaper and mas adventure (but it may be uncomfortable for some who's not really up for it), adto sakay sa may caltex dapit sa USJR, direcho nana siya padung mantalongon market, then adto ka start trek, around 1hr 30mins to 2 hours siguro imo hike, depende imo pace.
- If ganahan ka ug convenient, I think kibaw naka unsaon hahaha although medyo mahal kung solo
- You don't need a guide, pwede raka mu sunod sa uban group nga padung saka, or just follow the trail. You'll know where the peak is kay usually daghan tao mag saba2 nig abot ngadto sa peak. sunda lang asa ang saba hahaha

(Best time?)
- Depende nimo, pero ako, ako usual ETD going there is 10am-12noon (for some reasons)
- Go on a weekday, I suggest Tuesday-Thursday
- Don't go on a holiday

(Camping?)
- find a good camping spot, naa koy fave spot ngadto taas sa hill, flat siya, dili bato-on, ma tabunan sa hangin kay naay mga tanom/sagbot sa luyo. although di siya overlooking, safe siya sa against sa hangin kay kusog jud hangin ngadto usahay, na bali-an nakog tent ngadto, coincidentally naa pa extra tent
- secure your tent!
- naay ma palitan pagkaon sa market if ever ngita kag bawn.
- water is life, bring around 1-1.5 liters of water
- bring jacket, basin bugnawan raka ngadto, murag akong heart hahaha
- bring trash bag para sa imong ex. I mean sa imong mga sagbot hahaha. then dalha imong basura elabay ngadto sa saktong basurahan dapit sa tindahan or sa market.
- pagda ug suga, headlamp/flashlight
- if ma abtan ka ug lunch nig naog sa main road, adto kaon sa foodlane unahan sa simbahan and dagat, subaya lang ang dalan skina julies, pangutana lang sa mga locals kung asa, about 300 meters from julies bakeshop

(Adventure)
- Pag hike sa uban peaks ngadto, I think naay 2-3 other pwede ma saka-an, para lain2 imo view hahaha
- Pag hike pabalik Mantalongon market, naay "shortcut" ngadto nga trail from the jump-off, pangutana lang sa locals kung asa agi-on, if masaag ka kay pangutana lang sa mga balay2 ngadto hahaha.
- Try hitchhiking from mantalongon market, basin maka hitch ka padung naog sa main road or balik sa city. dugay nako ganahan mu try hitch sa mga trucks, jeep na padung balik carbon, kanang magdala ug vegetables hahaha.

(Others)
- if ikaw ra isa, bring selfie stick kung nahan ka ug picture, or try pa picture nalang sa lain tao.

last adto namo TS(May 2016), nakakuha mi ug bata na guide sa mantalongon market... pag adto na sa registration center dapat adult ang guide and he is also registered as tourist guide...
nahitabo lng ni bec a kid was asked by a camper to buy food with 500pesos in hand... the kid did not return.. napasmo intawn ang camper.. hehe..
pero sa trail akong nakit-an going sa peak, Ma-trace ra mn... basin sa kadaghan na cgeg agi/lakaw2x na opaw na or dry season.

kung mag camping ta dapit sa peak, naa bay spot/area na makapopo ta? or kilid2x lang? sorry to ask, first time pa magcamp.. or padool mi sa registration center if magcamping? TIA!
