    Description: Celebrating our nation's independence day with an overnight bushcraft camp at the bosom of the Babag Mountain Range.

    Itinerary:

    Day 1

    06:00 - Assembly at Guadalupe Church
    08:00 - Leave Guadalupe for the Portal via Bebut's Trail
    09:00 - Arrive at the Portal; rest & rehydrate
    09:15 - Leave the Portal for Starbucks Hill via Freedom Trail
    10:15 - Arrive Starbucks Hill; rest & rehydrate
    10:30 - Leave Starbucks Hill for Camp Damazo via Lensa Trail
    11:30 - Arrive Camp Damazo; rest & rehydrate
    11:45 - Prepare lunch
    12:30 - Lunch time
    12:30 - Siesta/socials
    14:00 - Explore campsite
    15:00 - Bushcraft time – Tool Making 101
    16:00 - Set-up tents/shelter/sleeping area
    17:00 - Prepare dinner
    18:00 - Dinner time
    19:00 - Socials
    20:00 - Bushcraft time – Nocturnal Hunting 101
    22:00 - Socials
    24:00 - Taps

    Day 2

    05:00 - Reveille/Wake up time
    05:30 - Prepare breakfast
    07:00 - Breakfast time
    08:00 - Philippine National Anthem/Oath of Allegiance
    09:00 - Explore campsite
    10:00 - Bushcraft time – Outdoor Cooking 101
    11:00 - Prepare lunch
    12:00 - Lunch time
    12:30 - Siesta/socials
    13:00 - Break camp
    13:30 - Leave Camp Damazo for the Portal via Kilat Creek
    15:00 - Arrive Portal; rest & rehydrate
    15:15 - Leave the Portal for Guadalupe via Bebut's Trail
    14:30 - Arrive Guadalupe; rest & rehydrate
    15:00 - After-activity discussion/socials

    What to Bring: Survival knife/multi-tool set/Swiss knife/machete/jungle knife, tent, cook set, camp stove, spoon-fork set, plate/plastic food container, extra dry clothing, sleeping bag/hammock, tarpaulin, earth pad/ground sheet, slippers, water bottle, trail food/snacks, headlamp/flashlight, camera, compass (no GPS/real-time uploads please), jerry can, garbage bag, plastic bags, etc.

    Registration details:
    1.Registration fee, Php450 (Good for complimentary T-shirt, four meals and field manual).
    2.One may register here in Facebook with confirmation later by any of the ff - Jing de Egurrola (+639237162705), Boy Toledo (+639228096086) and Randell Savior (+639324507551). Number of participants is limited.
    3.Last day of registration: June 3, 2011.

    Parabellum* briefing will be held at Joven's Grill, AS Fortuna Street, Banilad, Mandaue City (infront of Adoration Convent) on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, 6:30 PM (18:30).



    *Latin for "preparing for war". This is a bushcraft term for pre-activity or pre-climb discussion.
