Why cremation is expensive than the conventional burial?

actually cremation is cheaper than a conventional burial. i thought otherwise but then my dad's best friend passed away last year and ganahan cya magpa cremate. kalimot kog pila ang gasto but it was cheaper than my mom's conventional burial, according to my dad.

I think its cheaper. My officemate's dad passed away and his body got cremated. What's nice about it is you can decide to either have the ashes scattered sa ocean, mountain or you want to keep it and you'll have to select a nice urn for that. Kung ako siguro magpa cremate na lang ko. I dont believe in buying those expensive memorial plans. Why? for one thing what for? Its better to live nice and comfortable when you are alive not when you are dead. Besides, i like having my family keep my ashes in an Urn sa altar or somewhere just closeby them.

Cremators use natural or propane gas as fuel. That is a major factor why cremation is relatively more expensive than a normal burial.
